Marin Headlands Field Trip

Students will observe deformed sediments deposited in deep oceanic waters for over 100 million years are now exposed in the cliffs. Oceanic crust formed at a mid-oceanic ridge is also visible along the cliffs. The trip will also include spectacular views (on clear days) of the Golden Gate Bridge, San Francisco and the Pacific Ocean.
