Stratigraphic Traps
These types of traps are more difficult to locate at depth with remote sensing.
Explorationists must look for indirect surface evidence of upward seepage such as rock alterations and geobotanical indicators.
They use MSS remote sensing data to look for anomalous zones of vegetation, and also principal component (PC) color anomalies.
